VAS Machine Data

As it was a nice sunny day, I was able to connect to the Red Lion VAS and download the data for the period 16 January to 19 July 2024, the report is attached. As you can see in the 186 days of this period, we had 677305 vehicles entering the village at this end and 788753 vehicles leaving the village towards Little Witley, that’s an average of 3641 vehicles per day entering and 4241 leaving the village on this road (A433).The speed stats show that we still have a small percentage of drivers (9.59%) that think that it’s OK to do greater than 35 mph coming into the village, and an even greater number, 31.33%, who feel that it OK to put their foot down before they reach the end of the 30 MPH limit.  Unfortunately, the V85 percentile figure for both incoming and outgoing vehicles is still what the police would consider to be “Satisfactory” so we will get no additional action from them as a result.
