Millennium Green

Located in the Malvern Hills District Council area, it was developed as an open space for all to enjoy as a reminder of the 2000 Millennium by the villagers with a Millennium Green Grant and a considerable amount of effort.

The Green has a wooded area with many trees of different varieties together with mature hedges. There are wild flowers and an array of wildlife including buzzards, pheasants, foxes and even muntjac deer.

There is also a fenced off play area for younger children and larger apparatus for older children.

There are views of the Abberley Hills with its Clock Tower and the River Severn in the valley to the North from the Green.

It is a Charitable Trust Registration No. 1081408. The Trustee's and others are all local people who volunteer their time to run and maintain the Charity and the Green. It is financed by a small amount of Parish Precept, a lottery and donations.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no bins at the park so please take your litter home.

Santa On The Green

Father Christmas is coming to Holt Heath again! He’ll be at the Millennium Green on Sunday 4 December with the Salvation Army Band. Mince Pies, mulled wine and a little present for every child.

This is a FREE event funded by Holt Parish Council and The Millennium Green Trust to spread some Christmas joy for everyone in our community.

Directions to the park

The entrance to the car park is located off the B4196, about a 1/4 mile from the junction with the A443 at Holt Heath.

Pedestrian access is at the bottom of Cherry Orchard. Please be respectful if parking in Cherry Orchard, do not park on the pavement and do not block residents' driveways.
